User Research & Testing I believe every great design starts with the user. By employing methods such as in-depth interviews, guerrilla research, and usability testing (as seen in my work for Bol. and Timing), I ensure decisions are based on data rather than assumptions.
Design for Behavioral Change With a specialization in CMD, I focus on the psychology behind the click. I design interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also actively help users change their behavior or reach their goals more efficiently.
UX/UI Design & Design Systems I translate complex problems into intuitive interfaces that are accessible (WCAG 2.1) and scalable. From initial sketches to fully documented design systems in Figma.
Conversion Optimization (CRO) Design is a tool to achieve business objectives. By analyzing and optimizing user flows, I successfully increased the conversion rate for Timing’s application flow from 55% to 83%.

As a thesis intern at bol.com, I researched how innovative design can enhance the purchasing experience for fashion and home goods. Based on my findings, I developed a design proposal to address this challenge, which was graded an 8 by the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.

Hi, I’m Jelle Aanstoot — a UX designer based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
I design accessible, user-centered digital experiences that are both thoughtful and effective. Currently at Timing, I focus on UX research and interface design for web and mobile platforms.
